THE FIELD GUIDE / REFERENCE

Deep Dish Dungeon Cooking Recipes

For the dining-hall door, a player reports three dishes: Stew with Raw Meat and Wild Pepper, Cooked Veggies with Wild Pepper, Corn and Tomato, and Bean Soup with two Black Beans. The Cooking Pot prepares soups; the Cooking Table and Oven handle the final Deep Dish Pizza.

Recipes for the dining hall and beyond

These are specific combinations documented by players, not a complete list of every recipe or substitution. The three golden-door dishes are from a launch-period report; the Mushroom Soup entry is visible in a player guide screenshot.

Use the Cooking Pot

Place the Cooking Pot over a lit fire and put the documented ingredients in its slots. A player cooking guide describes two main slots and an optional extra slot, and shows two Mushrooms plus Basil starting Mushroom Soup.

For the golden door, keep the three batches separate and check the finished dish name before carrying it to the table. A launch-period player specifically reported two Black Beans for Bean Soup; patch 1.0.50.0 later corrected the in-game Bean Soup tip.

A PC Game Pass player also completed the door with Raw Meat plus Tomato for Stew and Tomato plus Wild Pepper for Cooked Veggies. Those are two documented alternatives, not proof that every substitution works. Extra ingredients can affect the result or add a bonus.

Prepare and bake the pizza

At the Cooking Table, make Corn Dough from Wild Corn and a Water Bottle. Combine Corn Dough, Tomato and Cheese into Raw Deep Dish Pizza, then cook it in the Oven.

A recorded menu shows the two preparation steps and identifies the Oven as the finishing station. A player recommends a second cooked pizza for the fight if you can spare the ingredients: the first is for the offering.

Since Steam patch 1.0.50.0, the Cooking Table unlock prerequisite is Leather rather than Corn. The recorded pizza menu predates that patch, so check your own current menu.

Food effects: a recorded example and demo data

A full-game recording shows one Cooked Veggies bowl with +10 maximum HP, +22 maximum SP and +10% jump height for 17 minutes. That bowl also displays a swimming-stamina and weapon-stamina add-on; the recording does not establish how that add-on works in practice.

For comparison, the Windows Steam demo v1013 item data lists Bean Soup at +40 maximum HP and +20 maximum SP for 15 minutes, Stew at +25 maximum HP and +1 melee damage for 16 minutes 40 seconds, and Mushroom Soup at +16 maximum HP and +14 maximum SP for 12 minutes. These are historical base-item values, not a retest of the full-game combinations above.

The demo calls its pizza Deep Dish Pie and lists one minute of immunity alongside its food buffs. A full-game player also reports an immunity effect from eating Deep Dish Pizza. Read your finished item for the effects in your version.

If a recipe or station is missing

Check whether you need the inventory crafting menu, the Workbench, the Cooking Table or a heated cooking station. For the Cooking Table specifically, pick up Leather and check the crafting menu; older instructions that name Corn describe the previous unlock.

The pot and oven do different jobs: prepare a raw pizza at the table before taking it to the oven. For soup, check the pot, its heat and the ingredient combination instead of putting the food on the preparation table.

Exact food effects and cooking times are not established for every dish above. This is a checked selection, not a claim that these are the only recipes in the full game. Steam’s latest announced patch at the time of review was 1.0.51.0; the older player demonstrations were not retested here on that patch.

Questions

Is the Cooking Table the same as the Cooking Pot?

No. The table prepares items such as Corn Dough and raw pizza. The Cooking Pot is used for dishes such as soups and stew.

Can I use any food for the golden door?

The launch-period report identifies Stew, Cooked Veggies and Bean Soup as the three dishes. Check each finished item’s name and use the documented combinations if a different attempt fails.
