DocNovak’s October 2026 treasure guide places the nugget deep in the sewers, in the red bat cave near the giant eel. The guide names a Grappling Hook as the required tool.

1. Bring a Grappling Hook to the red bat cave in the deeper sewers, near the giant eel.
2. Look up over the canal for an opening with a chest inside.
3. Reach the opening with the hook and take the Gold Nugget from the chest.

What to do with the nugget

Keep the Gold Nugget for the treasure-return task. In Tbar666’s secret-ending checklist, the six gold items go back into the golden chest on the dining-table level; DocNovak’s list identifies the Nugget as one of those gold treasures.

The checklist describes that chest on the level with the Moon and Sun coins in the two food rooms. Returning the gold is one part of the larger checklist, not a complete ending by itself.

If a treasure goes missing

Patch 1.0.50.0 says the host can recover a lost treasure through the Catalogue, even if it ended up in another player’s inventory. That is a recovery option, not evidence that the chest repeatedly generates Gold Nuggets.

The player route identifies one chest; a repeatable nugget source has not been established by these records.
